You will lead a team of BASIS administrators and work closely with other IT departments and business units to ensure the optimal performance of SAP environments.Key Responsibilities: SAP System Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and others. Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of SAP applications and systems. Team Leadership: Lead a team of SAP BASIS administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Coordinate team activities and manage project deliverables to meet deadlines. System Monitoring and Support: Monitor system performance, manage system health checks, and perform regular maintenance tasks. Resolve complex technical issues and provide 24/7 support for SAP environments. Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage SAP implementation and upgrade projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain SAP security policies, user roles, and authorizations. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. Performance Tuning: Perform system tuning to optimize performance for both SAP applications and underlying infrastructure. Analyze system logs, trace files, and performance metrics to identify and resolve performance issues. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate regular reports on system performance, issues, and maintenance activities. Collaboration and Communication: Work with SAP functional teams, developers, and external vendors to address technical issues and implement solutions. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
