Title:  Data Team Lead || Project Manager

Location:  Providence, Rhode Island

Duration: 6+ month

Mandatory Skills:  Data Warehouse, Project Management, Waterfall & Agile Scrum

Job Description:

Required Skills

Extensive experience in Project Management, in Waterfall and Agile Methodologies

Knowledge of Project management methodologies, processes, and tools including Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC)

Have working experience in Data Warehouse technologies (including ETL tools) and data architecture environments.

Working experience in Healthcare/Health Insurance domain

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, project team members, supervisors, and employees from other departments

Ability to lead and manage data warehouse projects in onshore-offshore model

Ability to collaborate while dealing with complex situations

Ability to think creatively and to drive innovation. Ability to track and manage complex program budgets

Ability to motivate, lead and inspire a diverse group to a common goal/solution with multiple stakeholders

Ability to convert business strategy into action oriented objectives and measurable results

Strong negotiating, influencing, and consensus-building skills

Ability to mentor, coach and provide guidance to others

Understanding of Azure cloud, Snowflake and Matillion

Responsibilities:

Provide staff support, guidance, and education as needed to ensure the success of priority programs and promote cross-training within the department.

Provide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence expertise and build project/program plans

Develop and manage an integrated program plans that incorporate both technical and business deliverables. Verify that critical decision gates are well defined, communicated and monitored for executive approval throughout the program.

Planning and tracking team's activities and program progress effectively

Verify that work supports the corporate strategic direction. 

Facilitate meetings with task groups or functional areas as required for the initiatives and/or to resolve issues.  Proactively engage other members of the organization with specific subject knowledge to resolve issues or provide assistance. 

Lead post implementation review of major initiatives to provide lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Develop accurate and timely summaries for executive management that provide consolidated, clear, and concise assessments of strategic initiatives implementation status.

Collaborate with business owners to develop divisional business plans that support the overall strategic direction.

Supports budget allocation process through ongoing financial tracking reports. 

Collaborate with the various stakeholders to address risks & issues and ensure on-time delivery.
