From: anilj, RBC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Role: Azure Data Architects Annapolis , MD/ Hybrid Role Long Term Only USC/GC Locals Only Interview Details: Anticipated Duration: 1 hour Mode: Primarily via Microsoft Teams, with a possibility of an in-person interview for final round in Annapolis Required Experience: 5-10 years exp; Proficiency in Azure, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks Work Arrangement: Location: Hybrid model with 2 days remote and 3 days onsite Client: Maryland Judiciary Information Systems, Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST Responsibilities: Participate in all aspects of the data warehouse (DW) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process design, creation, and specification for components. Collaborate with technical, functional, and management representatives from the Client to provide services related to source data modeling, DW schema development, and DW physical design. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure data warehouse architecture development and utilization. Ensure all work is completed within regulatory compliance standards to protect sensitive data. Provide regular progress reports on programs and projects, project progress and status, and time reporting. Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and tools related to data warehousing and analytics. Design and build BI solutions, monitor, and tune queries and data loads, address user questions concerning data integrity, data mapping, monitor performance and communicate functional and technical issues. Design and implement database models, schemes, and databases to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis. Monitor and optimize data systems, data lifecycle, and infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and integrity. Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from multiple source systems; ensure data quality and cleansing is verified. Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models. Ensure all data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control system. Develop codes, test for quality assurance, administer RDBMS. Required Experience: Proficiency in BI best practices, relational structures, dimensional data modeling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques. Experience with dimensional modeling, STAR schema design, Snowflake schema design, slowly changing dimensions, confirmed dimensions. Advanced experience with technologies such as SQL Server 2016 or above, as well as with Azure data factory, SSIS and stored procedures. High proficiency in dimensional modeling techniques and their applications. Understanding of Azures architecture to structure optimized data workflows. Familiarity with the normalization process. Strong understanding of dimensional modeling techniques and their applications. Ability to work in a hybrid setting, with a combination of remote work and on-site work. Flexibility to work during normal operating hours and provide on-call operational support outside business hours as required. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience in the judicial or legal industry is a plus.
