Title Sr. Test Automation Engineer Location Baltimore, MD metro area ( 2 days per week in office ) Contract/Duration 6+ Months Exp: 12 Years Visa Any Visa except H1 Mode of Interview Phone/Skype Job description - Need 2 professional references The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of test automation experience , strong experience in backend API testing with tools like Postman and Test NG , Java coding experience and CI/CD pipeline experience. There is a strong preference for this resource to accommodate their hybrid work schedule (2 days per week in office). Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in software development and testing. Proficiency in automated testing frameworks, specifically TestNG, JUnit, Selenium, Postman. Strong Java coding experience Experience with Git and code management. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Gitlab - CI/CD - Load Testing, Postman, Any CI/CD (jenkins, etc), Experience with Postman for API testing. API Testing and JUnit Testing is a must Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting, Linux/Unix Ubuntu Environment Development Experience with Monitoring Tools, to look at logs in Splunk and good at Database Tools like MySQL, SQL Server Proficiency with various testing types such as unit, integration, functional, regression, load/performance testing. Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TestNG. Utilize Postman to test REST APIs. Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities. Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide inputs on testing matters. Collaborate with the team to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
