The glider assessment required for this role is Sr. Engineer (JAVA, SQL, Cloud, Oracle, Microservices, Linux and Bash Scripting) It would appear that candidates are going to need some development background, but the role is focused on DevOps/Production readiness. Strong logging/monitoring experience using Splunk/Dynatrace. This is a production readiness type role within DevOps/Site Reliability. This role involves troubleshooting production issues. Will partner with the development team on production support, production readiness issues with applications written in Java, SQL and Microservices. This contractor will not code in JAVA but should be able to read and have JAVA knowledge to troubleshoot and support applications in production. Most important skills needed are Java, LINUX/UNIX, and scripting. Will use Splunk, Dynatrace and Remedy for monitoring. Should have knowledge in one or more of these areas. There will not be any direct external customer contact. This manager is only OPEN TO LOCAL CANDIDATES. Please do not submit any resources who are not already in the St. Louis area. The manager is open to candidates who have been developers who are open to moving into a production support role. The ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize work based on current business needs. Possess strong communication skills -- both verbal and written. Strong relationship skills, collaborative skills and customer service skills. 1-3 Years of experience in the following is required: UNIX, scripting, Oracle, SQL skills We support many different stakeholders.
