| From: Divakar Kumar, NSD International [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Request Title: SAP Business One (B1) Project Manager (Discrete, MTO, ETO) Desired Start Date: 7/29 Duration: 12 Months, Hrs/Wk:40.00 Work Location: Plymouth, MN (Remote with occasional travel to Mexico) Sr. Project Manager - SAP Business One (B1) Project Manager (Discrete, MTO, ETO) We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the implementation of SAP Business One (B1) project for a discrete manufacturing operation, with a focus on engineer-to-order and make-to-order processes. This role involves integrating SAP B1 with a commercial off-the-shelf Product Engineering/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and a custom-built Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and bilingual English and Spanish is preferred. * Remote Position but occasional travel is required to Mexico. Top 4 skills required: 1. Experience implementing managing an SAP Business One (1) project 2. Experience in Discrete, Make-To-Order (MTO), and Engineer-To-Order (ETO) manufacturing environments 3. Functional and Technical experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration with ERP Systems 4. Bilingual Preferred - Written & Spoken English and Spanish Key Responsibilities: - Project Planning and Management: - Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for the SAP B1 implementation. - Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. - Integration and Customization: - Oversee the integration of SAP B1 with the PLM system and custom-built MES, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. - Coordinate with technical teams to customize SAP B1 to meet business requirements. - Production Planning and MRP: - Utilize expertise in production planning and MRP to optimize manufacturing processes within SAP B1. - Implement best practices in production scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation. - Stakeholder Communication: - Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and vendors. - Provide regular status updates and project reports to senior management. - Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration. - Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving among team members. - Risk Management: - Identify and assess project risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. - Monitor project progress and address issues promptly to keep the project on track. - Quality Assurance: - Ensure that all project deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards. - Oversee testing and validation of integrated systems, ensuring they function correctly. Qualifications: - Experience: - Proven experience in managing SAP Business One (B1) implementations, particularly in discrete manufacturing, engineer-to-order, and make-to-order environments. - Strong background in production planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP). - Experience integrating SAP B1 with commercial off-the-shelf PLM systems and custom-built MES. Skills: o Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Effective communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
