As a Power BI Architect, you will be responsible for the entire BI solution lifecycle, from data acquisition and modeling to report and dashboard creation. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights through intuitive and informative visualizations. Important Skills and Keywords (Must Haves) Power BI Expertise: Proven experience designing and developing complex Power BI reports and dashboards In-depth knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Service, and Gateway Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices in the Power BI environment Proficiency in DAX formula language for creating calculated measures and KPIs Data Integration and Transformation: Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and data modeling techniques Ability to work with various data sources, including relational databases and cloud-based platforms Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams Strong presentation skills to showcase data insights and recommendations Technical Skills: Experience with SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation Understanding of data security and governance principles Familiarity with cloud computing concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise-wide Power BI solutions to meet the specific needs of various business units Develop data models that are optimized for performance and scalability Create compelling and informative reports and dashboards using a variety of visualizations Write complex DAX formulas to perform calculations and create custom metrics Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into data insights, and ensure solution adoption Partner with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data quality and security Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in Power BI and data visualization Keywords: business intelligence information technology Massachusetts Need Power BI Architect [email protected] |
