Top Skills/Experience: Experience as a PORTFOLIO manager, not project management Executive level communication skills Ability to influence and drive change Strong collaboration skills The Enterprise Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving execution that maximizes efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes to achieve business results for assigned Business Teams. Working in strategic partnership with the Business Leaders to ensure that the business areas/teams are operating as effectively as possible, specifically managing the Business Teams Portfolio Management process, portfolio structure, alignment, and analysis to allow Business Teams Leadership to make confident and sound portfolio investment and prioritization decisions. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree Strong structure, organizational, critical thinking skills and broad business acumen with ability to deliver scalable business solutions that simplify and streamline complex concepts and processes Strong experience with managing clients, stakeholders, 3rd parties, and cross functional teams. 3 to 5 years consulting experience and/or subject matter expertise in the areas of business process design, integration and change management 7-10 years of experience in Project / Program Management or Portfolio Management with complex, large scale engagements Results driven approach with ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with all level of leaders Excellent communication / interpersonal / influencing skills Key Responsibilities Business Leadership teams Provide advice, analytics and actionable insights to key stakeholders and decision makers for investment and prioritization decision-making; Facilitates portfolio management meetings, ceremonies and processes for assigned Business Teams Governance and Planning Lead governance and planning for assigned Business Teams through OKR creation, facilitation and reporting; Fresh Forward and KEY process management; LRP process management; Business Team Leadership team meeting governance Strategic Planning Operationalizes the Business Teams strategy through creation and maintenance of BT portfolio hierarchy in partnership with Business Leadership, ensuring the Business Teams portfolios are optimized and enabled to deliver against the long and short-term strategic goals of the business Strategic Leadership Identify and drive alignment across critical dependencies and risks in the portfolio; propose solutions to resolve or mitigate identified risks; enroll initiative-level project management support where needed Operational Excellence Ensures portfolio metadata is completed and maintained (intake and prioritization process, data accuracy, data synchronization with KEY / other platforms) by effectively engaging and influencing the accountable leaders and helping to offload some of the duplicative data requirements between systems Communication & Change management Own communication of value, risk, performance, and key decisions of assigned portfolios Benefits Realization Leverage enterprise Value Framework to measure how portfolio initiatives deliver value to the enterprise and key stakeholders; drive Benefits Realization practice and framework from identification to execution to sustainment Keywords: Ohio Enterprise Portfolio manager or Program manager - 6 months contract - Hybrid - Cincinnati, OH - Locals only [email protected] |
