| From: Harsh Goyal, Vizon Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description -Web Developer - React6 MonthsSan Antonio, TX (Hybrid)SkypeResponsibilities: * Perform technical discovery to support design of new UI components, patterns, and features * As a Web Developer, you will provide feedback and recommendations based on technical constraints * Develop and refine coded components and demos in accordance with team sprint plans REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent practical experience * Junior- to mid-level front-end web developer/software engineer (1-5 years of professional experience) * HTML/CSS (1-3+ years required) * JavaScript (1-3+ years required) * TypeScript (1-3+ years preferred) * SASS/SCSS (1-3+ years preferred) * Version Control (Git/GitLab) (1-3+ years required) * Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.1) (1-3+ years preferred) * Strong understanding of user interface design, usability, web semantics, and interaction design principles * Strong foundation in modern front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, plain JavaScript, Typescript, and React * Experience writing unit tests and familiarity with one or more common testing libraries (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, React Testing Library, Enzyme, Chai, Selenium) * Experience with Git including common branching and merging strategies * Understanding of responsive design principles and technical approaches to enable responsive web experiences * Knowledge of common technical design patterns & conventions for web applications * Experience working with an enterprise design system or UI component library preferred * Experience translating UI designs into pixel-perfect web applications, pages, or components * Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication & collaboration skills * On-site preferred (ideally San Antonio or Plano, but any USAA regional office acceptable), but open to remote based on demonstrated success working with a distributed team * Fluency in English, with good overall command of language (nearshore only) * Portfolio of representative work, showcasing responsive, accessible (WCAG 2.1) solutions Technologies/Software: * HTML * CSS/SASS * JavaScript/TypeScript * React * Git/GitLab/GitHub * NodeJS * Figma Keywords: user interface Texas Hiring for Web Developer- React || San Antonio, Texas || Hybrid || Need Local || 6 Months [email protected] |
