Job Title: Okta Developer Location: [Remote] Job Type: [Contract] Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Okta Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identity and access management, particularly with Okta. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Okta solutions to ensure seamless authentication and authorization processes across various applications. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Okta solutions for identity and access management. Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with various applications. Develop and maintain custom authentication and authorization workflows using Okta APIs. Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies and ensure compliance with security standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Okta configurations and integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective IAM solutions. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks. Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an Okta Developer or similar role in identity and access management. Strong understanding of SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect protocols. Experience with Okta administration and configuration. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java. Knowledge of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and federation concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Okta Certified Professional or Okta Certified Administrator certification. Experience with other IAM solutions (e.g., Auth0, MS Entra, SailPoint). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
