| Role: Node JS Lead Locations: Parsippany, NJ (Need Local with DL) Duration: Contract Visa- GC/USC/H4-EAD Minimum of 10 years of experience in backend development, with at least 5 years in a lead role focused on BFF architecture. We are seeking a highly skilled BFF Lead to design, implement, and manage our Backend for Frontend architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, experience in building APIs, and a deep understanding of how to optimize communication between the frontend and backend systems. As a BFF Lead, you will work closely with frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth and efficient data flow, contributing to the overall performance and user experience of our applications. Key Responsibilities: Architect and Develop BFF Solutions: Design and implement robust BFF layers to streamline communication between frontend and backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with frontend and backend development teams to understand their requirements and challenges, providing effective BFF solutions that meet project needs. Optimize Data Flow: Ensure efficient and secure data transfer between client-side applications and backend services, reducing latency and improving overall application performance. Code Quality and Best Practices: Maintain high standards of code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices in software development. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools and practices to track the performance of BFF services, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and issues proactively. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in backend and frontend technologies, incorporating relevant updates into the BFF architecture. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in backend development, with at least 5 years in a lead role focused on BFF architecture. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Node.js including frameworks such as NestJS - Must have Proficiency in other backend technologies such as Java, or Python. - Good to have Experience with frontend technologies and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. - Good to have Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other communication protocols. Solid knowledge of database systems, such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with version control systems. Solid knowledge of caching such as Redis Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Certifications: Relevant certifications in backend/frontend technologies or cloud platforms are a plus.
