Role: Business Analyst with Claims Location: Minneapolis, MN (Locals or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Analyze and document current claims processes and workflows. Identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations to optimize claims handling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Gather and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of issues in claims processing. Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps. Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for proposed changes. Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and tools for claims management. Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to claims handling. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or claims industry. Strong understanding of claims processes and industry best practices. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with business process modeling and improvement methodologies. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in claims management. Proficiency in using claims management software and systems. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
