Location:. NYC Hybrid 2-3 days onsite Duration : 6 months. Visa Restrictions: No H1b/CPT . Interview Process: 2 rounds (1st is virtual, 2nd is onsite) Job Description: Must Haves Recent experience as a Video Engineer analyzing/delivering text file (Manifest). 3+ years of prior experience in software engineering preferably coming from the entertainment/streaming industry. Experience working with digital video workflow and operations, and digital video technology development Strong understanding of playback protocols ( DASH, CMAF/HLS). Understanding of how APIs work (using testing tools like postman, Charles proxy). Technical experience with cloud-based technologies, specifically within architecture/infrastructure (AWS) Experience in working with teams, building real-time, large-scale, low-latency distributed systems. Key understanding of technology principles and work methods ( Agile, Scrum, etc.) Plusses Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and large-scale deployment Knowledge with Server Side Ad insertion (SSAI), transcoding and packaging Knowledge of OTT video delivery pipelines including basic networking concepts, source origination, video ingest & encoding, and packing including encryption and DRM Thanks and Regards Hemant Rawat US IT Recruiter |Convex Tech Inc.
