GeniSys is DORs tax application built on COTS product from FAST enterprises. It is built on a VB.NET stack with SQL server database. Responsibilities: The candidate should be able to: Design and develop code using VB.Net and C# Analyze code and component dependencies and develop in a configuration based system Work with SQL server databases Understand process design and technical requirements documentation. Work both independently and within a project team to design, develop and deliver software solutions for new and existing functionality. Analyze and build data for test, triage defects to draw conclusions, define issues and make appropriate recommendations. Act as a reliable source for early feedback on new functionality and feature changes Be able to document work and knowledge transfer as required Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment and manage changing priorities Qualifications: 4-5 years of Software development experience using VB.Net (Required) Proficient in SQL Server database development techniques (Required) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (Required) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
