Boston MA hybrid role 6+ months No H1b ! The Project Manager is responsible for: Planning o Plan and manage IT projects by identifying tasks, resources delivery timelines, risks, and success metrics. o Manage program scope, schedule, budget, and resources to successfully fulfill business and technical requirements with high customer satisfaction. o Report on technical issues and help develop and deliver guidelines for IT process improvement. o Work with product owner to understand the backlog, participate in daily scrum, work to remove obstacles and participate in sprint reviews. o Review projects and milestone dates with senior leaders. o Follow the Project Management Office (PMO) methodology and the use of PMI best practices; ensure the delivery of a product that meets user requirements. o Create and maintain relevant project artifacts such as project charter/scope, project plans, back log list, stories, status reports. RAID log and operational checklists. o Provide presentations as necessary to stakeholders, agency staff and management. o Assist with procurement necessary to acquire goods and services to facilitate the project. o Lead and manage project status meetings with vendor and other stakeholders and project teams on a regular basis Compliance and Standards: o Work with Executive Office of Technology and Security Services (EOTSS) to ensure solutions are consistent with Commonwealth technical standards and guidance Qualifications At least five years of experience in managing medium/large-scale IT projects ($2 million+ in size). Public sector experience preferred 1. Hands-on experience in project resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting 2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 3. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with project teams and business teams 5. Team-oriented attitude and the proven ability to collaborate at all levels of an organization Desired Skills/Experience: Experience working on projects in the affordable housing sector or other public benefit programs Training, Certificate, or Direct Experience with Change Management Relevant IT/Project Management certifications (e.g., Lean, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) Familiarity with a variety of software development methodologies such as agile, waterfall, and a strong understanding of the suitability of these methodologies for certain development environments and types of applications Experience with advanced Microsoft Office, pivot tables, charts, Visio, data analytics and JIRA or other project management tools.
