This role will involve working closely with our development and data teams to ensure the integrity and quality of our data models, particularly within Snowflake and dbt frameworks. Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications. Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools. Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and identify test scenarios. Perform data validation and testing using SQL queries to ensure data quality expectations. Adapt to and work with Snowflake and dbt data models. Identify, document, and track software defects. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. Provide clear and concise reports on testing outcomes. Requirements: Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries. Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Familiarity with Snowflake and dbt data models is a plus. (willingness to learn is a must) Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
