| Job Title: Business Objects Consultant Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Client: DOD Client - Elbit Systems Project Location: New Hampshire (NH), USA Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Objects Consultant for a 6+ month remote contract with our Department of Defense (DOD) client, Elbit Systems, located in New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be a US citizen with extensive experience in Business Objects and Oracle environments. This role involves evaluating the current state of two older Business Objects (BO) Server Environments on Oracle and providing a comprehensive assessment and strategy for migrating to SQL. Key Responsibilities: Evaluation: Conduct a thorough evaluation of the current Business Objects Server Environments running on Oracle databases. Assessment: Assess the state of the environments, identifying any issues, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Migration Strategy: Develop a detailed migration plan to transition from Oracle to SQL, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Implementation: Assist in the implementation of the migration strategy, providing expertise and support throughout the process. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of the current environment, assessment findings, and the proposed migration strategy. Collaboration: Work closely with the client's IT and operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of the migration plan. Training and Support: Provide training and support to the client's team on the new SQL environment as needed. Qualifications: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen. Experience: Minimum of [5-7] years of experience working with Business Objects and Oracle databases. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Business Objects Server Environments, Oracle, and SQL. Project Management: Proven experience in managing and executing database migration projects.
