Duration: Long Term Job Overview: As an IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Your role includes designing, implementing, and testing IoT systems, ensuring they meet the necessary specifications and standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT solutions into our products and services. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Develop IoT solutions from concept through deployment, including hardware, software, and networking components. Create detailed design documents and specifications. Implement and test IoT applications, protocols, and systems. Integration and Implementation: Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and ensure seamless data communication. Work with software developers, hardware engineers, and network specialists to integrate IoT solutions. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor IoT systems and devices to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IoT devices and networks. Implement security measures to protect IoT systems from vulnerabilities and threats. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to deliver high-quality IoT solutions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on project progress. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the IoT space. Conduct research to identify new opportunities for IoT applications and improvements. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in IoT development and implementation. Experience with IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, and JavaScript. Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi). Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP). Skills: Strong Python experience Experience with Azure DevOps Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning is a plus.
