I am reaching out to you on an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients Title :- Network Engineer (OSI Model SCADA Systems) Visa : USC/GC Location:- : Hybrid , require 60% travel across Indiana and Kentucky Duration: 6+ Months Experience: 12+ Years Client:- Hitachi/ Amazon Web Services Customers Note :- Need candidate who can travel and travel expenses will be paid by client Job Description: Theyre looking for individuals who have OT design, buildings, implementation and architecting for the L1 and L1 and network engineer Why do you have the need(s): To support plant/warehouse equipment/processes by delivering IT and OT networks that adhere to industry standards. Day to day job responsibilities: Analysis, architecture, development, deployment, and management of IT and OT networks. Specify ancillary systems like power (battery) backup for network devices. Work with various network topologies (ring, bus, star, etc.). Documentation, communication, training, collaboration, and project management. Technical Environment: Open industry standards, OSI model ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSl_model ). Who is the internal/external customer: IT and Engineering/Operational Technology (OT) organization. Size of group: Varies, delivery across 3-5 different customers. Education/Training: CCNA, CompTIA Network+ 5+ years of experience. 3 Must haves for the position: Deep understanding of network concepts and OSI levels and experience with industrial networking applications. Strong documentation and communication skills both internal and external (Customers). Project Management Strategy/Architecture Direction Diverse Equipment Landscape Work Across ISA-95 Level 1/2/3 Teams Pluses for the position: Why: Project management skills. Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance issues.
