Role: SAP ABAP Consultant Location: Omaha, NE Onsite (Needs to be onsite once in 2-week, Travel expenses will be paid by client side) Duration: 24+ months with possibility of 12 months extension Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development and be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing SAP applications. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs and enhancements. Design and implement custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications. Maintain and update existing SAP applications and interfaces. Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications. Participate in SAP upgrade and implementation projects. Provide support for SAP-related queries and issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and advancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP). Proficient in ABAP programming, including Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, ALE, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms. Experience with SAP Workflow, User Exits, and Enhancements. Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Certification in SAP ABAP.
