Job Description Title Ansible Infra Lead Engineer/Architect (on W2) Location hybrid role in Jersey City, NJ so need local candidates only for now Client BNY Mellon Contract/Duration 6+ Months Visa Any Visa Except H1 Mode of Interview Phone/Skype Job description - Lead, Design, Find gaps, Architect solutions, have to be top level guys. Technical Skills: Ansible Expertise: Deep understanding of Ansible (versions 1.0 and 2.0) with a focus on infrastructure automation. Linux Administration: Proven experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.8, preferably with a Red Hat certification. Infrastructure Automation: Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure automation tools, likely with a focus on Ansible playbooks. Cloud Experience: Significant experience working with Azure, particularly regarding infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD exposure. CI/CD Integration: Understanding of how to integrate automation tools like Ansible with CI/CD pipelines. Artifactory: Familiarity with Artifactory for managing software artifacts (likely for maintenance purposes). This person needs to have a significant amount of time working with azure, knows how CI/CD are exposed. Ansible- Exposure with both 1.0 and 2.0 (From Infrastructure perspective) AZURE Exposure to CI/CD Artifactory LINUX- RHEL will be highly preferred- CERTIFIED SLAM DUNK 2-3 Projects total they will be working on. Project 1: Ansible version 1 is moving to Ansible version 2 Infrastructure and configuration is in place Playbooks that user teams use- upgrade and maintain their servers. All of the playbooks have to be modified. Thousands of playbooks that have to be updated. They have an automated way to update the playbooks. 168 teams to migrating, getting up to speed with no errors. Playbooks are used in production. Project 2: Digital Rebar- MAAS End to end provisions for non vm and vm Building out the infrastructure in non-prod environments, then they will build in prod environments Duplicating some existing work Integrate Digital rebar to tools and reporting Ansible, integrations hardware and software into it, has to understand developer point of view This team also handles artifactory.
