In this role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining geospatial data workflows using FME (Feature Manipulation Engine). You will be responsible for integrating, transforming, and analyzing spatial and non-spatial data to support decision making across the organization. Important Skills and Keywords Technical Expertise (7+ years) FME (Feature Manipulation Engine): Extensive experience with FME Desktop, Server, and Cloud. Proficient in creating, managing, and optimizing complex data workflows. GIS Software: Strong knowledge of industry-standard GIS software like ArcGIS and QGIS. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and XML for data manipulation and automation. Data Formats: Familiarity with various data formats including Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML, CAD, and databases. Ability to design and implement efficient data transformation processes. Data Integration and Transformation Skilled in integrating, transforming, and automating data workflows from diverse sources. Expertise in developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for seamless data integration. Experience working with various data formats and ensuring data quality and consistency. Problem-Solving and Innovation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex GIS data issues. Ability to innovate and implement new methodologies and tools to improve data processing and analysis. Proficient in troubleshooting and optimizing FME processes for enhanced performance and efficiency. Documentation and Training Experience in creating comprehensive documentation for GIS workflows, processes, and best practices. Ability to train and mentor junior GIS developers and provide support for continuous team improvement. Proficiency in creating user guides, technical manuals, and training materials for FME solutions. Spatial Data Analysis Advanced skills in spatial data analysis and geoprocessing using FME and other GIS tools. Experience in performing complex spatial queries and analysis to support data-driven decision making. System Integration and API Development (Preferred) Experience integrating FME with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools) to streamline data workflows. Proficiency in developing and utilizing APIs for data exchange between FME and other systems. Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) for spatial data integration across platforms. Performance Monitoring and Optimization Ability to monitor and optimize FME workflows for performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and timely data processing. Experience using FME Server's automation and scheduling capabilities to manage and optimize data workflows.
