Establish a structured controls framework, employing an automation first approach to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Collaborate closely with the change management team under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Key Responsibilities: Support day-to-day banking operation functions, including daily sub-ledger to general ledger balancing and daily cash reconciliations. Establish controls for, monitor, and resolve exception items in a timely and accurate manner. Design and build efficient and controlled reconciliation processes utilizing various in-house and external reconciliation tools. Develop data feed structures to facilitate automated and efficient workflows. Engage with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and specifications. Conduct UAT to make sure that all applications are tested for functionality and are adequately accepted by users. Requirements: Experience: Experience in banking operations function and business process management. Experience in interacting with senior management and business SMEs with demonstrated ability to conduct analyses and effectively communicate results. Prior experience in banking or financial services. Skills: Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic work environment. Must display critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in machine learning techniques and programming languages (VBA, Python, SQL). Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in process development and data analysis.
