Description: As part of a Program Team made up of Program Managers, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Delivery Leaders, this individual will be a key player in the definition of scope, creation of decision documents, program analysis, and facilitation of leader and team member meetings. A successful candidate will be able to elicit high level requirements from business stakeholders and coordinate with other areas of the organization (IT, Operations, vendors, etc.) Professional exposure to healthcare is highly desirable with experience in the healthcare payor space preferred as they will be working closely with cross functional teams across Operations, IT and our Business Units. Core Role Responsibilities: The Business Analyst works with business partners, technologists and end users throughout the organization to understand and document customer high level requirements and assist with project implementations. These requirements are documented in a way that is understandable to the business with the necessary level of detail and clarity for technical and non-technical project resources. The Program BA provides analytical guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements gathering (50%) Facilitation and program documentation (30%) Communication (20%) Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: Bachelors degree Years of Experience: 5-8 Required Experience: Experience working in Healthcare; preferably in a Healthcare Payor organization Ability to conduct focused sessions and identify business process improvement opportunities, document and prioritize requirements, manage scope, focus on business value, and provide supporting visual documentation. Engage and lead stakeholders and other contributors in developing functional and non-functional business and use case requirements and must be able to distinguish between a stated need and what might best deliver the intended value. Industry knowledge of tools, techniques and industry best-practices in an Agile environment Must show strong initiative and be able to work independently and be self-directed at time and work in a fast-paced environment Willing to extend beyond your specific job role to assist the Agile team as needed. Ability to relate well at all levels of the organization, building rapport, credibility and influence while maintaining collaborative relationships. Must have strong listening skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a big picture mentality. Must be able to ask questions and interview stakeholders to gather information and understand end to end impact of their work. Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to effectively manage within it.
