| Dear Team, Mainframe Automation Engineer with Infrastructure background in Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ (Day 1 onsite) 12+ months contract Client note: Infrastructure background is mandatory. Job Description: Required Technical Skill Set: z/os maintenance, DB2, CICS & MF MQ, REXX Must have: Strong knowledge in mainframe hardware, operation & z/os maintenance, DB2, CICS & MF MQ Understanding in mainframe SMPE, dysprosium testing Automation knowledge- Rexx programming Connectivity test from MF - Rexx programming + socket calls Responsible to understand the current IVPs/ logs files to determine/ provide feedback to the mainframe on any additional ways to validate the MF changes/ upgrade Work with MF team to coordinate with the app dev and the corresponding ETE functional test teams to have them run their regression test for the MF changes / upgrades. Responsibility / Expectations from the Role: Interact with client team and guide them on best practices Develop automation framework for Testing Mainframe Infrastructure components Identify new areas where automation can be implemented to enable value add.
