Should understand industry standard process and procedures to run a Remote offshore delivery center. Should have experience in handling global customers communication has to be at its best both oral and written. 1.1 Big Data Support (Exadata, Netezza, ODA, ZFS, GG, DBA) (a) As part of the Big Data Support Services , Service Provider will provide 24x7 support of the following State Street database environments: Exadata, Netezza, Oracle databases (DBA), Oracle database appliance (ODA), ZFS, Golden Gate ( Big Data ). (b) As part of the Big Data Support Services , Service Provider will operate a tiered support model where the first level support for the infrastructure will be provided through the SysOps team (i.e., monitoring, basic troubleshooting) and the second level support will be provided by the Big Data Support system administrators as well as Big Data database administrators. (c) Service Provider will also have separation of duties between engineering and operations (including between the system administrator and database administrator). (d) Service Provider understands and operates the primary responsibilities of Big Data systems administration (SA) functions. And work closely with State Street to make sure that State Street business needs are being met and that any changes are fully tested and compatible with the State Street business applications, schedules, and capacity needs. Following are the activities performed as SA function on Big Data systems: (i) Monitoring all Exadata, ODA, ZFS, Netezza, DBA and Golden Gate systems; (ii) Conduct agent install, configuration and maintenance (e.g., Autosys, Tanium, Illumio, Dynatrace, Splunk); (iii) Apply security patch for all vulnerabilities; (iv) Support during application and database issues and Major Incidents; (v) Conduct OS tuning for appliances, including working with vendor for maximum performance; (vi) Conduct ad hoc system health check to identify any new issues; (vii) Provide data replication support; (viii) Provide HA support and RAC support; -- Keywords: cprogramm active directory information technology New Jersey Immediate Interview || Oracle Database & Exadata Manager || Princeton, NJ [email protected] |
