From: Vijay Chepyala, Talent Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : ETL Developer Location: Montpelier, VT, United States (Remote) Duration: 12+Months Contract Description POSITION OVERVIEW : Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) components of Data Warehouse. This includes the tuning of the ETL processes, and creation of the technical and system specification documents necessary to support ETL processes of Data Warehouse. Candidate must participate in the development and execution of unit and system test plans. Candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting of data issues within production application databases. POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) components of Data Warehouse. This includes the tuning of the ETL processes, and creation of the technical and system specification documents necessary to support ETL processes of Data Warehouse. Candidate must participate in the development and execution of unit and system test plans. Candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting of data issues within production application databases. 5+ years full life cycle software development experience. 5+ years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (data modeling, stored procedures, functions and query optimization). 3+ years of experience in SSRS/SSIS and ETL development. Knowledge and working experience with Data modelling, ETL, Data Warehousing, SQL Server Experience with a successful data warehouse implementation is highly desirable. Familiar with shell scripting and its applied usage Expert level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or 2019, including T-SQL. Experience analyzing and working with existing complex data structures. Significant development experience in SSIS is preferred. Experience in database-related performance tuning. Working knowledge in data modelling. Healthcare - Payer domain knowledge strongly preferred. Business Analyst experience preferred but not required. Able to successfully complete tasks with limited supervision Ability to create complex, high-performance views in SQL Server 2016/2019 Ability to create complex, high performance stored procedures in SQL Server 2016/2019 Desire and ability to clearly communicate with colleagues at all level Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions Excellent troubleshooting skills Must have 4 years college degree in Technical/data driven subject area Keywords: |
