The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional programming and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and scalable code. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust Scala applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in Scala development. Strong understanding of functional programming principles. Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Experience with reactive programming frameworks such as Akka. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL). Experience with build tools such as sbt or Maven. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with big data technologies like Spark. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
