| Job Title Lead Data Scientist Location Primarily remote, 1-2 times a month onsite in Reston, VA Duration 12 months Interview Process 2 round videos Project Summary The client is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to create solutions for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The hired resource will be responsible for optimizing, scaling, and deploying the Python codes to production for different Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence projects. Essential Functions The Lead Data Scientist should have experience working with AWS cloud environments with tools such as (AWS SageMaker, AWS Lambda, Amazon Aurora, Amazon Athena, Bedrock, Amazon Kendra). Resource should have experience building and implementing AI/ML solutions, not strictly coding. This resource will be responsible for acting in a team lead capacity to other Data Scientist on the team. Candidates should have experience acting in a leadership however they will not have any direct reports. Top Five Skills Required 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist working with AI and ML models including 1+ year of experience acting in a lead capacity 4+ years of experience with Python programming Experience building and implementing AI/ML solutions including M/L regression and classification models Experience working with AWS cloud environments with AWS SageMaker (Required) and other AWS tools such as AWS Lambda, Amazon Aurora, Amazon Athena, Bedrock, Amazon Kendra.
