Job Title: SAP Content Server Administrator (Max DB) Location: Remote/Colorado Duration: Long Term Contract Interview: Video Introduction: We are seeking a skilled SAP Content Server Administrator with expertise in Max DB to join our dynamic technical team. This role is crucial in managing and maintaining our SAP Content Server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP Basis administration, particularly with a focus on SAP Content Server running on Max DB. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Configuration: Deploy and configure SAP Content Server on Max DB, ensuring all technical requirements are met. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring tools and strategies to ensure the SAP Content Server operates efficiently and reliably. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for the SAP Content Server on Max DB to minimize downtime and data loss. Patch and Upgrade Management: Manage patches and upgrades for SAP Content Server and Max DB, ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest features and security fixes. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to SAP Content Server and Max DB, collaborating with other teams as necessary. Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures and access controls for the SAP Content Server environment. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to SAP Content Server on Max DB configuration, processes, and procedures. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in SAP Basis administration with a focus on SAP Content Server. Strong technical proficiency with Max DB database management system. Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Content Server on Max DB. Solid understanding of SAP architecture and components. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: SAP certifications related to Basis administration. Experience with other SAP modules and components. Familiarity with SAP archiving strategies and best practices.
