| Title: Network Engineer with health insurance domain (hybrid) City: Candidates ONLY from MD, VA, DC, WV or withing 2 hrs Drive of Owing Mills MD Duration: 6 months Interview: Video Visa: USC, GC Rate: $50/Hour C2C max Work mode: Hybrid ( 1 -2 Weekly Meetings in Owings Mills, MD) Network Engineer Certification is required in Palo Alto ( Recent Health Insurance Client Exp is MUST) Seeking a Network Engineer! The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, availability, performance, security, capacity planning, and license management of the our client-s Network & Firewalls Infrastructure. Candidate requires understanding and oversight of multi-cloud (Azure/AWS) connectivity with primary and secondary data centers. Position requires the necessary experience and technical skills to oversee the installation, configuration and support of the network hardware, firewall security and supporting software. It requires understanding and oversight of multi-cloud connectivity with primary and secondary data centers. Candidate requires strong troubleshooting and effective communication skills to extend beyond the Network Engineering team to collaborate with other technical teams, clients and vendors on complex infrastructure designs and difficult troubleshooting. It also requires the ability to multi-task effectively, supporting multiple products, running projects, and troubleshooting seamlessly. This position is a contract to permanent opportunity with our client, who is offering a generous salary and benefits package. This position is a hybrid opportunity which requires 1-2 visits per week to our clients office / data center in either Columbia MD or Owings Mills MD. Required Skills - This position requires a bachelors degree and 10-12 years of experience in IT Network Operations Support. (4 additional years can supplement the degree) - Certification is required in either Palo Alto or Networking in general (Palo Alto strongly preferred). - Position requires experience with Cisco Network technology: LAN, WAN, SAN, switches, and routers. Candidate needs experience managing, troubleshooting hardware/software problems. Experience managing circuit procurement and management with large Telecom provides. Requires experience managing cloud network connectivity. Implementation and management of SD-WAN. Experience using network monitoring tools i.e. Solarwinds, Appneta, DataDog, Dynatrace, etc. - Position requires deep knowledge and -hands-on- experience with the various Palo Alto firewall platforms. This includes the Palo Alto Panorama and Prisma platforms.Position requires substantial knowledge of F5 Load Balancers - Position requires basic operational knowledge of both AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms - Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects and to deliver projects on time and on budget. Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required with multiple infrastructure groups. Candidate should have excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. - Extensive office productivity software skills including Microsoft office software such as Word, EXCEL, Visio and PowerPoint.
