Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and develop solutions. Optimize database performance and troubleshoot performance issues. Ensure data integrity, security, and availability. Perform data modeling, database design, and normalization. Develop and maintain ETL processes to load data from various sources. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Create and maintain documentation for database systems and processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in database development. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in SQL development. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Strong understanding of database concepts, normalization, and data modeling. Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Experience with ETL processes and tools. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their database services. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies. Familiarity with reporting and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS. Experience with database administration and maintenance tasks.
