(Urgent need) Location: Onsite (Phoenix, AZ) Duration: 6 Months Visa: GC/USC/H4EAD/GCEAD Job Requirement: Hyatts datacenter operations team is responsible for the planning, installation, documentation, and occasional maintenance of Hyatts server and network hardware in our corporate datacenters. Additional responsibilities include maintaining correspondence with Server and SAN admins, keeping up with equipment availability levels based on demand, shipping and receiving, deploying new equipment, and retiring depreciated equipment as necessary. The datacenter operations team also plays a crucial role in hardware infrastructure management such as server rack planning, equipment tracking and documentation, forecasting, etc. Hyatt is seeking a Datacenter Operations Specialist. This person will have a genuine passion for all things hardware and will be well versed in a corporate datacenter environment. The ideal candidate will have experience racking, labeling, documenting, and cabling servers and switches and will have both hands-on and remote experience maintaining a server environment. Basic, rudimentary knowledge of the physical cabling requirements of Ethernet and Fiber Channel networks is required. Understanding system redundancy and uptime requirements as it relates to hardware installation is necessary. Attention to detail regarding cabling, inventory maintenance, labeling and documenting is a must. Knowledge of power delivery systems also required.
