The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP MM implementation, configuration, and support, and will be responsible for leading the MM module efforts in a long-term contract with our confidential client. The role requires the candidate to be onsite in Omaha, NE, once a week to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead SAP MM Projects: Oversee and manage all aspects of SAP MM module projects, from planning and design to implementation and ongoing support. System Configuration: Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements. Integration Management: Coordinate with other SAP module leads to ensure seamless integration and data flow between MM and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI/CO). Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on best practices and system improvements. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and support teams, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to use the SAP MM module effectively. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and any changes made. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the SAP MM module in a timely manner. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all SAP MM configurations and processes adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills and Experience: SAP MM Expertise: Minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP Materials Management, including hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA. Project Leadership: Proven track record of leading large-scale SAP MM projects from inception to completion. Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SAP MM module functionalities, including procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, material master, and logistics invoice verification. Integration Knowledge: Strong knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FI/CO) and third-party systems. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage relationships with stakeholders. Onsite Requirement: Willingness to be onsite in Omaha, NE, once a week to ensure effective team collaboration and project success. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications: SAP MM certification or relevant SAP certifications. Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or logistics.
