The file transfer's main responsibilities will be as follows: Enhancement of the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company with the addition of file scanning capabilities Lead the technical design, development and documentation of cross-functional, multi-platform distributed application systems Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating coding, testing, change implementation and documentation IBM Product experience required: Engineering expertise of IBM Connect: Direct (standalone) and Sterling File Gateway suite (Sterling Integrator/Secure Proxy, SES, CM) Focus on the integration between the Sterling Secure Proxy component and separate instances of Connect: Direct environments Product upgrades/patches/configs/security (key, certificate, vulnerability management) File scanning (iCAP) Shell scripting - automated processes Understanding of networking requirements (load balancer/DNS/firewalls, etc.) Engineering expertise of IBM Control Center is a plus.
