| USC/GC 55 C2C Power BI Developer Location: Malvern, PA All contractors MUST sit on-site. Job Description: S eeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and deploy Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing interactive and insightful business intelligence reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI and other components of the Power Platform. This role requires a strong understanding of business requirements, data analysis, and the ability to transform data into meaningful insights. Additionally, experience with AWS Glue Catalog and Dremio connections is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards. Design and implement data models that ensure data accuracy and efficiency. Create DAX queries and functions for enhanced data analysis. Connect to various data sources, including AWS Glue Catalog and Dremio, import, and transform data for Business Intelligence. Integrate Power BI with other Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate. Ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems. Deploy and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. Manage Power BI workspace and datasets, ensuring proper governance and security. Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration. Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities. Stay updated with the latest Power BI and Power Platform features and updates. Identify and implement best practices for Power BI development and deployment. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance data analytics capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. Experience with other Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus. Experience with AWS Glue Catalog and Dremio connections. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling. Proficient in SQL and experience with database management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, etc.). Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
