This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and experience in emergency communication systems. Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality, requirements, and interoperability of the system of systems. Ensure stable enterprise, system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices. Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions, provide test cases for SAT and SIT, and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible. Review test results for accuracy, validate against architectural deliverables. Integration Architect Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality, requirements, and interoperability of the system of systems. Design and architect integration solutions for NG911 systems to ensure interoperability and seamless communication between different components. Ensure stable enterprise, system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices. Lead the implementation of integration solutions, including configuring middleware, developing APIs, and setting up communication protocols Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions, provide test cases for SAT and SIT, and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible. Review test results for accuracy, validate against architectural deliverables. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree with no less than 12 years in Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering within PS environment Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future proof public safety solutions Experience building and supporting mission critical infrastructure for critical applications, running in a highly distributed manner. Experience in large-scale integration efforts involving multiple technologies, virtual infrastructures, end-user agencies and/or contractors; Experience with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTP (Real-Time Protocol). Experience with Monitoring tools within NG911 systems Min 12 yrs. experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology or skill set. Knowledge of system integration techniques and the ability to design systems that work seamlessly with existing infrastructure Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation and facilitation skills; Subject Matter Expert of Enterprise Integration for multiple complex applications within Public Safety domain; In-depth knowledge and expertise in various technology stacks, platforms, and architectures. Proficiency in system design principles, software architecture, and understanding of hardware components. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Requirements Documentation: Creating clear and comprehensive requirements documents. Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams. Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies. Clear understanding of the systems development lifecycle, challenges and prospective delays and experience resolving such issues.
