| I am looking for a systems engineer that can work a hybrid role onsite in Houston, TX. Ideally this person would have experience with c++, python, HALs and rapid prototyping. This is going to be a long term contract and needs to start day 1 in Houston. NO H1B/OPT/CPT Please Required Skills - - 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, or related roles, with a demonstrated focus on performance optimization and hardware-software integration. - C++ or C# development - Python - Proficiency within hardware-software interactions, and experience designing and implementing HALs for diverse hardware accelerators - Proficiency with Windows API, system calls, and performance tools - Experience with Rapid Prototyping Nice to have - - Experience in optimizing AI workloads using inference tools (e.g., TensorRT, OpenVINO, ONNX Runtime) - Cloud (AWS or Azure) Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Software Engineer to join their team in developing cutting-edge AI solutions. In this role, consultants will play a crucial role in enabling high-performance AI capabilities across diverse hardware configurations. Their work will focus on developing the foundational software infrastructure that bridges the gap between AI models and hardware, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring seamless integration with various systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative AI projects and work with cutting-edge technologies. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Design and implement robust hardware abstraction layers (HALs) to interface with various hardware accelerators (CPUs, GPUs, NPUs) and optimize AI model execution across diverse hardware configurations. Develop and implement system-level optimizations to maximize AI performance and efficiency, including resource allocation, task scheduling, and memory management. Create tools and frameworks to monitor and analyze workload performance in real-time, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with AI engineers, software developers, and hardware vendors to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of AI models across various commercial products. Participate in the development and testing of AI optimization prototypes, gathering data and feedback to refine solutions and demonstrate their value.
