| Job Role : Technical Manager / Technical Architect Location : NYC - REMOTE 15+ Years of experience profiles needed We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hands-on Technical Manager to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API and application development, cybersecurity, and experience working closely with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs). This role requires full-cycle development experience, from gathering requirements to creating technical specifications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, ensuring high performance and team growth. API & Application Development: Oversee and participate in the design, development, and deployment of robust APIs and applications. Security: Implement and maintain security best practices in collaboration with the CISO, ensuring all projects comply with security standards and regulations. Full Development Cycle: Manage the entire development lifecycle, from requirement gathering, planning, and design, to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Technical Specifications: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architectural designs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality products. Code Review & Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards are followed, and perform quality assurance to maintain the integrity and performance of the applications. Problem Solving: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our technology stack and processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: o Minimum of 10 years of experience in API and application development. o Proven experience in a technical leadership or managerial role. o Strong background in cybersecurity and experience working with CISOs. o Demonstrated experience with the full software development lifecycle. Technical Skills: o Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar. o Expertise in API design and development (RESTful and/or GraphQL). o Strong knowledge of security best practices and frameworks. o Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). o Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git). Soft Skills: o Excellent leadership and team management skills. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Effective communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
