As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications. You will work closely with business analysts and other developers to ensure that applications meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Design, code, and test mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe technologies. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing mainframe applications. Perform system and application enhancements to improve performance and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Develop and execute test plans to ensure application quality and performance. Document technical processes, changes, and solutions for future reference. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer with strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2. Familiarity with mainframe development tools and environments (e.g., CICS, VSAM). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications or training in mainframe technologies (preferred).
