GLIDER Required: Lead Software Development Engineer (Java 11, SQL, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, ReactJS/Angular) **12-15 years overall experience + 6-7 years at a Lead role. What are your top 3 required technical skills Java 11 AND SQL Angular 10+ and/or React Spring Framework - SpringBoot AND SpringBatch What are a couple of desired/nice to have skills Knowledge of PCF Knowledge of Kakfa Knowledge of Apache NiFi What soft skills would you like to see in a candidate Good Communication skills Honest Pro-active Team-player Problem-solving What level of competency is required Expert (We need the person applying to have worked as a technical lead and having led a team, with a total java development experience level of expert. The resource will be expected to write code along with leading/mentoring/guiding the junior staff on the team.) We need someone who has 6-7 years of experience as a lead, with an overall java development experience of 12-15 years. Are there any specific accreditations, scores or licenses that would be of interest to you NO Why would someone want to leave their current job for this one Our team builds and supports one of the most critical products in Mastercard. The team is continually exploring new technologies to integrate with existing services with a view to make the products safe, exciting and easy to operate. Could you please describe how success will be measured during their contract We'll look at their cycle times, how well they deliver what's been assigned. We'll also look at how well they grasp/understand the system they're on. Their proactiveness within the team and finding issues to resolve. Candidate is expected to physically be in the office for a minimum of 4 times a week. What will be your interview process Teams. Will be multiple rounds consisting of behavioral, technical and problem solving abilities. There will be coding exercises too. All interviews will required video conferencing.
