Role : Azure Cloud Architect Duration : 12+ Months Contract Location : NYC, NY Onsite Job Description: Note: Client will take minimum of 4 rounds of interview. 1 probably will be in person. Job Description: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design on Microsoft Azure utilizing various IaaS and PaaS offerings. 5+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years of experience in technical architecture. Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, performant, and resilient Azure cloud architectures, inclusive of cloud migrations. Strong understanding of Azure security and governance principles and best practices. Strong knowledge of common architecture principles, patterns and practices, such as SOA, microservices, RESTful APIs, MVC, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Previous experience managing or leading technical teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
