Senior AWS Cloud Developer Baltimore, MD ( Need only Local Candidate from MD, PA, DE, VA, DC, NJ With DL) Hybrid Phone/Skype Candidate must have obtain Public Trust Clearance PV Note: Absolutely must have all of the Minimum qualifications Experience with AWS Kendra is a Must have Position description: Collaborate with team to design and implement the AWS Kendra prototype. Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS services. Evaluate the prototype's performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Assist in integrating the prototype with Agency systems. Document the development process and provide regular updates to the team. Work with leadership at all organizational levels and present relevant information. All other duties as assigned or directed. Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Engineering and Business Minimum 8 Years of software engineering experience Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Extensive experience with AWS serverless stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) Strong developer background with proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages. Cloud-savvy with a deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and services Experience with AWS Kendra is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and efficiently Excellent analytical skills to identify potential risks and propose effective solutions. Required skills/experience: AWS Certified (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator) Displaying ability to research and analyze technical matters Demonstrating ability to contribute to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback Managing teams comprised of technical, data science, and business specialists. Standout qualifications: Prior experience with AWS Kendra. Master Degree, Advanced Degree in Computer Science, other quantitative discipline. Certification in Cloud or related fields is a plus.
