MUST HAVE 4 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH FINANCIAL CLIENT WHO HAVE TRADING Murex, NuvoPrime, IOIs platform, Positions and Risk modules Job Title : Systems Developer Java Client : Mizuho is looking for the systems developer(s) with following Major Responsibilities: hybrid job - 2-3 days in office in midtown Manhattan, NYC local candidates only with financial industry experience * Developing sophisticated Front Office applications * Implementing and performing rigorous testing of the software that is developed * Understanding business requirements and writing specifications * Building applications as per the specification * Administering & work with other teams to handle all batch processing and be able to handle job failures. Required Qualifications: * 6+ years with Java experience (SE, EE) * 3+ years with messaging technologies (JMS) * 3+ years database experience - writing or dealing with data access layers (SQL Server preferred) * Experience with Spring * Experience with Maven * Experience with real time integration with 3rd party systems (e.g. Murex, NuvoPrime) * Strong architecture & design skills * Strong communication skills.
