Job Description 

Remote but may have some occasional travel to Olympia WA but really mainly remote and they typically cover expenses if need be

Qualifications Breakdown

Experience as an Application Engineering Lead:

       8+ years' experience in the Application Engineering Lead or comparable role: Candidates must have at least 8 years in a similar role.

       5 years using the Agile framework: Candidates must have at least 5 years of Agile experience.

       Proven track record of delivering successful products: Evaluate if candidates have successfully delivered products.

       Experience with end-to-end product delivery using Agile methodologies: Assess experience with SCRUM, Kanban, etc.

       Strong leadership presence and ability to question the status quo: Look for examples of leadership and challenging the norm.

       Ability to make data-driven decisions: Consider both data-driven decisions and well-supported intuition.

       Skill in discussing technology concepts to build consensus: Evaluate ability to communicate between technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with Documenting Technical Requirements:

       Expert-level expertise in developing and documenting non-functional requirements: Assess expertise in documenting non-functional requirements for financial management and customized systems.

       Experience understanding business workflows and customer data needs: Look for experience in recognizing and analyzing business workflows and data needs.

Experience with Requirement Traceability:

       Building sprint backlogs with templates: Look for experience aligning sprint backlogs with the SDLC.

       Linking Epics, Features, and User-Stories to work items: Check proficiency with Azure DevOps reporting tools and linking test-suites and results.

Experience with Automating D365 F&O Builds and Deployments:

       Creating and maintaining Azure CI/CD pipelines: Assess ability to use Azure CI/CD pipelines and GIT repos.

       Using D365 F&O build tasks and configuring settings: Evaluate experience with D365 F&O build tasks and settings.

       Branching/merging strategies in TFVC and GIT: Look for comfort with TFVC and GIT branching/merging strategies.

Experience with Modern Visualization Tools:

       Experience with tools like Lucid Charts, Miro, Moqups, Visio: Confirm proficiency with these tools or willingness to learn.

Experience working on D365 PowerApps and F&O Solutions:

       Comfort with X++ and the Application Object Tree (AOT): Assess experience with F&O customizations.

       Creating Canvas Apps utilizing JavaScript: Evaluate experience with JavaScript for D365 PowerApps customization.

       Technical advisory services on D365 platform: Look for ability to provide technical advisory services on best practices.

Experience with GL, AR, and AP Modules in D365 F&O:

       Understanding GL, AR, and AP module functions: Evaluate knowledge of these modules within AX or D365 F&O.

       Explaining Journal Entries, Chart of Accounts, Allocations, and Inquiries: Assess ability to explain these functions.

Experience with Azure Data Factory:

       Designing and implementing Azure Data Factory solutions: Evaluate experience with Azure Data Factory for large data migration efforts.

Experience with D365 F&O Data Management Framework:

       Configuring entity performance settings for the data management framework: Assess experience with these configurations.

       Running data-package imports and configuring CSV and manifest files: Look for experience with data-package imports.

Experience with Administration of LCS Environments in D365 F&O:

       Creating new environments in LCS: Assess capability in creating environments in LCS.

       Deploying patches and adding licensed users: Evaluate experience with maintaining LCS environments and user administration.

Effective Communication:

       Conveying project goals and feedback: Assess communication skills with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
