Position: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Remote, Preferred in Eastern Time Zone Duration: 6+ Month Job Description: Experience implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Automation Command of at least one scripting language, such as PowerShell, Ruby or Python and openness to adding the others as required by your daily tasks Conversant in or willing to learn git source code management Familiar with Microsoft VSTS/TFS/Dev Ops and/or other continuous integration tools: like Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo. Familiar with SQL/IIS server administration and scripting Familiar with software testing methodologies and platforms Basic understanding of the following software development languages and technologies o C# and .NET o Web Services, Model View Controller (MVC), and Entity Framework (EF) Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms Ability to work independently and to cooperate and collaborate with cross-functional teams Persistent desire to innovate, automate, and continually improve processes Capacity to take initiative; desire to become a self-starter. Willingness to find problems and come up with creative solutions. Effective time management and prioritization skills.
