Job Title: Node.js Developer Location: Cincinnati, OH (Day 1 Onsite) Experience: 8+ Years About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js development and release management, with additional skills in Python and Tableau being a plus. As a Node.js Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our applications, ensuring seamless deployment processes, and contributing to data visualization efforts. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js. Manage and optimize the release process to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, security, and functionality. Work closely with the DevOps team to automate and improve CI/CD pipelines. Utilize Python for backend tasks and scripting as needed. Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to support business intelligence efforts. Primary Skills: Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/Typescript. Hands-on experience with release management and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems like Git (e.g., Github, GitLab). Understanding of Restful APIs and micro services architecture. Knowledge of database systems such as Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Ability to write clear and concise documentation. Secondary Skills: Proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting. Experience with Tableau for creating data visualizations and dashboards. Understanding of data analytics and business intelligence concepts. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
