Responsibilities Help the tax team in guiding all possible combination of the Indirect tax regime of Oil industries such as motor fuel, excise tax, sales/use tax and property tax and any other indirect tax applicable to oil industry operating out of Texas. Carry out the complete testing of the configured S4HANA system with ONESOURCE as the tax engine as SI team and confirm to the readiness to release the system for Customer testing. Jointly Identify and communicate to the Configurator the logical reason for the failure to fetch the tax rate while testing the system. Communicate and discuss with the Customer the various tax scenario and technically communicate with the configurator so that the system logic is set up in line with that. Should be able to prepare the tax compliances report as part of testing the system with data available in the system. Required skills and qualifications. Extensive knowledge of accounting methods, tax laws, and audits in Oil Downstream company Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Sharp attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills Proficiency with relevant accounting software Preferred skills and qualifications Master degree or professional accounting (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, or related field Proven track record as a tax specialist or analyst Professional certification (ex: CPA in the United States) preferred Experience in managing extensive volumes of accounting paperwork for a corporation or large organization in tax.
