We do have opening for our client, Role : Oracle PL/SQL Developer, Location : Charlotte, NC Duration : Long-Term Contract Job Description : Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for applications. - Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures for performance. - Develop and maintain data integration processes using Oracle and Hadoop. - Implement and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data between Oracle and Hadoop. - Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. - Perform data analysis and create reports using Oracle and Hadoop tools. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of developed processes and systems. - Ensure data security and compliance with data governance policies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer. - Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming. - Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, HBase, Spark, etc.). - Knowledge of ETL processes and tools. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with other big data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flume). - Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Java). - Experience in performance tuning of large-scale databases. - Understanding of data modelling and database design.
