[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Redwood Admin Duration: 6 - 12 months Contract To Hire Location: Dallas, Texas, Miramar Florida EXPERIENCE Preferred Certifications: Redwood-RJM administrator 5+ years of experience deploying, managing and supporting Redwood RMJ solutions. 5+ years of work experience in high paced environment 5 + experience years of experience in a team lead or similar role Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting, Java. Public Cloud experience Preferred OS experience (Unix, Linux, Windows, iSeries) Basic scripting knowledge of Windows, CMD/PS1, Unix, Linux, Web Services, SOAP, and REST. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall performance and successful process of the Redwood RMJ solution with the objective of a centralized system that provides a unified platform for managing all scheduled jobs across SGWS applications and platforms. Orchestrate the deployment and maintenance of the Redwood RMJ enterprise scheduling tool, which requires advanced automation solutions to achieve the high levels of availability, reliability, and productivity necessary for coordinating complex operations across diverse systems. Design the solution to scale with the growing needs of SGWS, accommodating an increasing number of batch jobs and complex scheduling requirements as the organization expands. Ability to understand and apply role base access security and meet least privilege principals. Define Service and governance that is easy for all SGWS application owners to understand and use. Ensure Application owners have the objective to automate the scheduling of tasks and jobs following the SGWS Standards set in place for the RMJ solution. Work closely with SGWS application owners to understand their business requirements and objectives, including the Entire Batch Process from the different systems and applications. Audit all applications owners are consistently following the Redwood RMJ scheduler standards in place including dependencies across all platforms/applications configured in the tool. Provide guidance and be available to assist all Application owners. Mentor and train RMJ admin. Provide 24/7 on call Support for all Production reported incidents with the Redwood RMJ scheduler. Schedule training sessions for all SGWS application owners as needed to enable them to effectively use the Redwood RMJ solution. Monitor and provide solution to all reported incidents in ServiceNow. Document in detail Root Cause/PCAs to all Redwood RMJ Incidents reported in ServiceNow. Create and Maintain all Redwood RJM documentation in ServiceNow Knowledge Articles. Follow SGWS Change Management process on all Redwood RJM application changes including all future Upgrades. Responsible to participate and give guidance to all Redwood RJM changes submitted to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings. Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to workload automation and Redwood RMJ. Conduct periodic meetings with Application owners to audit/review/identify feedback/challenges/recommendation of each application, including decommissioning of stale jobs, failing jobs, performance degradation, product deficiencies, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong understanding of workload automation concepts and best practices. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting, Java. Public Cloud experience Preferred OS experience (Unix, Linux, Windows, iSeries) Basic scripting knowledge of Windows, CMD/PS1, Unix, Linux, Web Services, SOAP, and REST Preferred Networking experience to help diagnose any connectivity issues with process servers, platform agents, secure gateways, emails, etc. Preferred API experience to assist manage integrations with multiple systems. Admin experience on any other platform like an ERP or a SaaS platform Preferred Experience with your Enterprise applications: SAP, ServiceNow, Etc. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with a Batch Scheduling Software such as SAP Redwood, Help Systems. High level of trouble shooting and problem-solving skills Familiarity in distributed systems integration or cloud services a plus Above average written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical issues in a language understood by different levels of business leadership, end users and technical resources. Ability to multi-task including the ability to make sound decisions and execute responsibilities of the position in a fast moving and high-pressure environment.
